High-Performance Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems
The Kopay Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system is an effective solid-liquid separation solution designed to remove suspended solids (TSS), fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from industrial wastewater. By utilizing microscopic air bubbles, our DAF systems float contaminants to the surface for automatic skimming, leaving behind clear, treated water.
How Our DAF System Works
Our system uses a specialized Dissolved Air Pump to create a pressurized mixture of air and water. When this mixture is released into the flotation tank, it forms millions of micro-bubbles (20–40 microns). These bubbles attach themselves to the chemical flocs (formed by PAM/PAC), lifting them to the surface to form a concentrated sludge blanket.
